When you need surgical care, it's comforting to know that you're in good hands. At Winona Health, highly skilled surgeons and nurses operate in a new surgical center using the latest technology.
Our surgeons perform a range of procedures for patients of all ages, from bowel, gallbladder and hysterectomy surgery to ligament reconstruction, shoulder and knee arthroscopy and total knee and hip replacements.
All patients undergoing surgery or other invasive procedures are evaluated pre-procedure by anesthesia staff and a plan of care is developed. Anesthesia staff monitors patients during and after anesthesia procedures as part of the surgical process.
Approximately 80 percent of surgical procedures performed at Winona Health are same-day surgeries and many procedures are performed laparoscopically.
