Patient Services schedule appointments and will greet patients for their appointments. The receptionist's will verify patient demographics and insurance information at each visit. Confirming the accuracy of information of each patient is the first step to a successful visit at Family Medicine of Winona.

Our Licensed Practical Nurses gather information from patients to keep their chart up-to-date with their current medical history and to insure their visit with us is effective. Nurses perform a variety of lab tests and procedures in our office and are an important link between our patients and providers. Lynette, our registered nurse, oversees the nursing department and manages our quality care projects.

Our Medical Secretaries do the medical transcription and coding for each patient's visit. The secretaries also work closely with the provider and patient to coordinate care at other facilities and in setting up appointments for specialty care.

Our Business Office relies on the accuracy of information given at Patient Services. Family Medicine files health insurance claims electronically, so claims are paid promptly. They work closely with patients in setting up payment arrangements and are willing to answer any questions regarding your account.
